Jake is a paralegal at Solomons Legal, mainly assisting in property and commercial matters. He supports the partners of the firm with contract and trust reviews, as well as dispute and litigation matters. Envisioning the future of legal technology and automation, Jake is involved in the incorporation and integration of legal technology in the firm for improved efficiency and to meet client’s demands as a technology ready law firm.

Jake is currently in his penultimate year at the University of Queensland. Throughout his years of studying law, Jake has grown a strong interest in property law, commercial law, and criminal law. He strives to gain as much experience in his field of interest before graduating and becoming an admitted solicitor.

Jay is a Senior Associate at Solomons Legal, specialising in commercial and property law. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2019 after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the University of Queensland.

Prior to admission, Jay worked as a paralegal for three years at a boutique law firm with a focus on property law. Before joining Solomons Legal, Jay also had an in-house role as a commercial and legal advisor at a major energy company within the LNG industry, advising on both commercial deals and major contracts.

Jay has a keen interest in guiding his clients to make good strategic decisions, with a good understanding of the commercial realities behind legal structures.

Roy represents local and international clients doing businesses in Australia across a wide range of industries including healthcare, hospitality, property, and start-ups.

Roy has developed a particular expertise in assisting strategic buyers and sellers with complicated asset transactions. Clients see Roy as a trusted advisor and has been cited “a complete professional”, “responsive”, “making sure the job is done on time”, and “a great resources”.

Tiffany is a Paralegal at Solomons and student at QUT studying a double degree of Law and Business with a major in Finance.

‍

She assists the firm in the banking and finance and commercial area, acting for private lenders with respect to advances and discharges. Tiffany also handles conveyancing matters, wills and estate matters and assists in commercial matters handled by the firm. Tiffany has gained meaningful experience from doing pro bono work at the Bhutan National Legal Institute and Justice Centre Hong Kong.

Victor is a Partner of Solomons. He acts for a variety of private lenders, traditional banking and ASX 100 listed companies and provides sound advice across a broad range of financial transactions including property development, construction, renewable energy assets and pharmaceutical. He can also provide Personal Property Security Act securities and the registration on the Personal Property Security Register.

Victor’s unique background as a practicing solicitor for close to two decades allows him to bring a multidisciplinary approach to helping fulfil our clients’ needs in various asset transactions.
